On August 12, SANY Group shipped its first batch of SKT110Ei pure-electric autonomous mining trucks to South America, marking the company’s first autonomous mining truck project in the region. The project integrates an autonomous truck fleet, an intelligent dispatching system, and lifecycle operation and maintenance services.
Designed to address key challenges in modern mining, including haulage safety risks, operator shortages, rising labor costs, and demanding working conditions, SANY’s integrated autonomous mining solution combines autonomous trucks, roadside infrastructure, cloud-based dispatching, and localized service support.
The SKT110Ei pure-electric autonomous mining truck features SANY’s fully self-developed autonomous driving system, with a focus on reliability, energy efficiency, productivity, and reduced dependence on manual operation.
At the SANY Group Mining Summit 2026, SANY also unveiled its first cabless pure-electric mining truck. Featuring a liquid-cooled dual-gun charging system, the truck supports ultra-fast charging and offers three operating modes: on-site takeover, remote takeover, and fully autonomous driving.
SANY Intelligent Mining has deployed more than 300 autonomous mining trucks as of July 2026. These vehicles have accumulated over 13 million kilometers of safe operation and transported more than 41 million cubic meters of earth and rock.
The latest project highlights SANY’s continued expansion of intelligent, electric, and autonomous mining technologies into international markets.
